The Pride Mobility Jazzy Elite ES is a great solution for any disabled individual looking for a travel chair. The Elite ES provides a supportive chair with headrest, joystick controls that are easily configurable for both right or left handed use and a stable base that houses two removable batteries. The Elite ES may be the travel solution you have been looking for.

If you are an individual that relies on a power chair at home the chair you rely on daily is likely heavy and unsuitable to take on an airplane or a vacation where your trip would require lightweight travel mobility. Most power chairs used around town and at home provide a stable and supportive chair with a headrest, although these chairs tend to be heavy and less mobile when traveling. When we looked at the landscape of travel chairs we wanted to locate a chair that was more like a chair used at home that was also a travel chair solution.

Upon transport the Elite ES can be broken down into 4 parts for a lighter and easier transport of its components. The chair, the base and 2 batteries make up the 4 primary components of the Elite ES. The 2 batteries can be left in the base or removed if needed for lighter transport. Charging the Elite ES is easy with the portable and compact charging unit. The chair provides arm rests that are able to lift for easy entry and exit and an adjustable headrest for comfort and support.

We found the Elite ES to be very stable in a variety of conditions (I.e. loading and unloading to and from an automobile, around an airport, boarding and deplaning, on cement, around a resort and in a hotel room). The Elite ES delivers power at the front of the base and is stabilized by 2 wheels at the rear of the chair. For added support and safety the Elite ES has an adjustable seatbelt attached to its chair and a pocket on the back of the chair for storage. The back angle of the chair is adjustable for comfort.

We took the Elite ES out on the town numerous times and on all occasions the chair performed very well. The power level maintained all day long as we went out to breakfast, lunch and dinner. During that time we went up and down moderate hills going to and from our room. We also went out many evenings after dinner. Every day the temperature outside was over 90 degrees and during all of our activities the Elite ES performed very well. When driving up to a dining table the chair’s arms usually fit under the table.
